Le Mistral wins 10th Annual Waterford Crystal Chef of Chefs Award

The Woodlands Waterway Marriott was the location for more than 2,000 food and wine lovers to sample delicious cuisine and hundreds of different wines, as chefs representing 50 restaurants competed for Wine & Food Week's Waterford Crystal Chef of Chefs award 2014.

Master Chef and Owner of Le Mistral, David Denis, took top honours as the 2014 Waterford Crystal Chef of Chefs winning a $5,000 cash and prize package and the coveted Waterford Crystal Trophy. His winning dish was a Chicken Dumpling Filled with Wild Mushrooms over a Bed of Pressed Heirloom Tomato Topped with Zucchini Blossom Crisps.
