Managing your Cookies

  3. Select the 'Privacy' tab
  4. Slide the scale to Medium or lower to enable cookies (settings above Medium will disable cookies)
  5. Click 'OK'

  1. Open Firefox and select 'Tools' from the top menu
  2. Select 'Options'
  3. Select the 'Privacy' icon
  4. Under the 'History' section select 'Use custom settings for history' from the drop down box next to 'Firefox will:'
  5. Tick the box next to 'Accept cookies from sites'
  6. If you wish to enable 3rd party cookies, tick the box next to 'Accept third-party cookies'
  7. Select how long you wish cookies to remain on your computer or device for by selecting an option from teh drop down box next to 'Keep until:'
  8. Click 'OK'

  1. Open Google Chrome and click on 'Spanner' icon (top right corner of browser)
  2. Select 'Settings'
  3. Select the 'Under the Bonnet' from teh left navigation
  4. Locate the 'Privacy' section and select 'Content settings...'
  5. Locate the 'Cookies' section and select 'Allow local data to be set (recommended)' option
  6. Close the tab

  1. Open Safari and click on 'Edit' from the top menu
  2. Select 'Preferences...'
  3. Select the 'Security' icon
  4. Locate the 'Accept cookies:' section
  5. Select either 'Always' or 'Only from sites I visit'
  6. Close using the 'x' in the top right corner of the window

  1. Open Opera and click on 'Tools' from the top menu
  2. Select 'Preferences...'
  3. Select the 'Advanced' tab
  4. Locate the 'Cookies' section
  5. Select either 'Accept cookies only from the site I visit' or 'Accept cookies'
  6. Ensure 'Delete new cookies when exiting Opera' is not ticked
  7. Click 'OK'
