2011 has been a highly successful year for the House of Waterford Crystal. Since January this year 100,000 visitors have come to see the new Waterford Crystal factory, retail and exhibition areas. The manufacturing facility melts two tons of crystal per day and produces over 45,000 units per year. The retail and exhibition area houses the largest display of Waterford Crystal in the world.
Alan Mooney, Allison Collier and their daughter Eleanor who were visiting the House of Waterford Crystal from Co. Louth were elated when they discovered that they were the 100,000th visitor in 2011. Alan, Allison and Eleanor took a VIP guided tour of the manufacturing facility and were presented with a pair of Waterford Crystal Champagne Flutes to mark the special occasion.
