The perfect cocktails for a Halloween themed evening with Mixologist ‘The Cocktail Spin’
The change of weather in October calls for some expertly crafted warming cocktails that are infused with fall’s best flavours. We have partnered with mixologist The Cocktail Spin who has devised some cocktails that can be enjoyed throughout this colourful season and inspired by the Halloween Holiday.

Cocktail #1- The Chocolate Pumpkin Old Fashioned
The flavours of chocolate and pumpkin are October classics that are enjoyed both at Halloween and throughout the season of fall. Partnered with a firm whiskey favourite the Chocolate Pumpkin Old Fashioned cocktail makes this cocktail the ultimate tipple for the season, best served in our Waterford Crystal London Double Old-Fashioned Tumblers and enjoyed with friends.
2 oz Whiskey
0.5 oz Pumpkin Ale Syrup (1:1 Ratio pumpkin ale to sugar)
1 dash Cherry Bitters
1 dash Chocolate Bitters
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass with a large ice cube. Stir. Strain into a Waterford Crystal tumbler with fresh ice and garnish and an orange rind.
Cocktail #2 – The Thackery Binx
This striking looking cocktail is inspired by the spooky favourite film ‘Hocus Pocus.’ Serve this delicious whiskey-based cocktail with sweet treats. The cocktail is best served in our Waterford Crystal Lismore Connoisseur tumbler.
2 oz Rye Whiskey
1 oz Cranberry Juice
0.75 oz Lemon Juice
0.75 oz Maple Syrup
0.25 oz Allspice Dram
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a Waterford Crystal tumbler with additional ice and garnish with cinnamon sticks and lemon.
Cocktail #3 – The Katrina Van Tassel
A cocktail inspired by the classic gothic novel ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’. Warming tones of Allspice and maple syrup make this a cocktail for a guest with a sweet tooth who enjoys the flavours of Gin. Serve this delicious cocktail in our crystal Lismore Revolution tumblers or our tall Gin Journey highballs.
2 oz Gin
1.5 oz Apple Cider
0.5 oz Lemon Juice
0.25 oz Allspice Dram
0.25 oz Maple Syrup
2 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
Combine all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a Waterford crystal tumbler with ice. Garnish with one star anise and half a wheel of lemon.
