On the 3rd Sept , the House of Waterford Crystal welcomed guests from the spectacular MS Silver Explorer expedition cruise ship. Upon their arrival to the House of Waterford Crystal, the visitors took a guided tour of the factory facilities, admired the craftsmanship of our master artisans, and of course, didn’t miss a chance to shop, the largest collection of Waterford Crystal pieces, in the world, in our beautiful retail store.
The 354 feet-long grand ship sailed into the Port of Waterford and into the heart of Ireland’s oldest city. The ship had been designed specifically for navigating waters in some of the world’s most remote destinations, including both of earth’s Polar regions. Its strengthened hull enables Silver Explorer to safely push through ice floes with ease and has travelled through some of the Earth’s most inhospitable and stunning environments.
