For the first time in his career, David Lingmerth is a winner on the PGA Tour. The Swede defeated Justin Rose in a sudden-death playoff to win the Memorial on Sunday. The Memorial Tournament is hosted by the greatest player in the game's history, Jack Nicklaus.
Lingmerth was presented with the perceptual Waterford Crystal Memorial Trophy by Nicklaus.
