The House of Waterford Crystal won ‘Best Tourist Attraction’ Award at the inaugural InBusiness Editor’s Choice Awards which took place at the Hibernian Club, Stephen’s Green, Dublin on Wednesday December 12th, recognising excellence in business over a wide variety of categories.

Run in association with Chambers Ireland, Ireland's largest business organisation with 60 member chambers representing over 13000 businesses nationwide, the 16 InBusiness award winners have been chosen by the editorial team of InBusiness magazine and have aimed to honour both companies and individuals who made outstanding contributions to the Irish business community in 2012.

“These awards honour outstanding achievement in the Irish business community and have been selected on the broad criteria of growth, profile of business, range of services and customer care. With 16 categories, the Awards provide us with a rare opportunity to gather together representatives from a wide-variety of business,” said judge and Managing Director of InBusiness magazine Ruairi Kavanagh.

The successful win of the House of Waterford Crystal was based on it being one of Ireland’s most iconic brands, this landmark attraction produces more than 45,000 finely crafted pieces each year. Judges also noted that the House of Waterford Crystal welcomes visitors from across the globe, offering them an opportunity to tour their factory floor, interact with real employees on the ground and ultimately experience the magic of their brand.
