The House of Waterford Crystal has been named as one of the Top30 Stores 2013 finalists and will now progress to the Retail Excellence Ireland (REI) Awards in association with Barclaycard on Saturday 2nd November 2013.
David Fitzsimons, Chief Executive, Retail Excellence Ireland commented, "To achieve Store of the Year finalist status is a significant achievement. There are over 600 entries to the Awards every year and to be listed as a Top30 Finalist is proof that these stores have created an engaging and innovative retail experience which exudes service and standards excellence. It is clear from the quality of our finalist stores that the retail industry is playing its part in reviving our domestic economy”.
The House of Waterford Crystal Retail Store had previously been shortlisted in the Top 100 of the Retail Excellence Awards this year, before being recognized for its overall excellence and included in the final list.
The remaining Top 30 stores will now be divided into five different groups, based on the total square footage of the store. The winners of each group will contest for the main award of the year. The overall winner will be selected based on the reports data gathered, a review of store photography and in-store video recording evidence.
