The House of Waterford Crystal, located on the Mall in the heart of Waterford city, has been shortlisted in the top 100 of the Retail Excellence Awards. The retail store will now progresses to stage two of the awards which involve a formal store assessment which will determine if the store progresses to the top 50.

The Irish Retail Awards reward excellence in practice across the retail industry in Ireland. The Awards were established in 1997 by Retail Excellence Ireland to promote best practice standards in the retail industry and it is the largest awards programme of its type, boasting over 600 total entries annually.
The 2012 Awards will be presented to retail stores, companies and individuals who best demonstrate evidence of outstanding practice in retail and which makes a positive difference to the retail experience being delivered to the Irish consumer.
