The House of Waterford Crystal would like to welcome the passengers and crew of the cruise ship, the Rotterdam to Waterford. The Rotterdam which is docking off Dunmore East this morning has 1,404 passengers on board and 600 crew. This is the first of eight cruise ships to visit Waterford in the next two weeks.
MS Rotterdam is a Rotterdam-class cruise ship, the sixth Holland America Line vessel to bear the name, and is one of the two Atlantic flagships of the fleet. Built in Italy in 1997,Rotterdam features fine art and antiques, an internet center, and a spa and fitness center. The Rotterdam carries an art collection onboard worth over US$2 million.
