Former Liverpool player Didi Hamann visits the House of Waterford Crystal

On Saturday April 21st, the House of Waterford Crystal welcomed former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann to its manufacturing facility and retail store.

During his visit to the House of Waterford Crystal, Didi Hamann was taken on a VIP tour of the manufacturing facility and during the tour he donned a white coat and tried his hand at wedge cutting. “It’s fantastic to see such amazing craftsmanship here in the factory, the pieces that are created are truly works of art” said Hamann following his factory tour.

 

Dietmar Hamann started his career at Bayern Munich in 1993 and went on to play for Newcastle United, Liverpool and Manchester City before finishing his career in 2009. During his career he won Bundesliga, UEFA Cup, FA Cup, UEFA Champions League Trophy, FA League Cup, European Super Cup, and was a runner-up in the FIFA World Cup in 2002 with German National Team. Overall, Hamann has played 59 games for the German national team and 268 games in the English Premier League throughout his career.
