Waterford Crystal Fireman’s Helmet

The New York Yankees commissioned the House of Waterford Crystal to design and create a unique Waterford Crystal fireman's helmet to honour Mariano Rivera, the helmet bears the record-setting No. 602, as well as an image of Rivera, in recognition for the most saves in baseball history on Monday against the Rays. The crystal helmet was handcrafted at the House of Waterford Crystals’ Factory on the Mall in Waterford City, Ireland with copper-wheel engraving.

On September 25th, the New York Yankees honoured Mariano Rivera for his all-time saves record before the first game of Sunday's day-night doubleheader against the Boston Red Sox.
